More About Kirsten
Kirsten has been working in Human Resources in fast-paced, accelerated growth companies in a variety of industries for 20+ years. For more than 10 of those years, she has been in leadership roles at The Walt Disney Company, Seattle Genetics and most recently at the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation. Kirsten helps build HR capability and capacity, designs and implements effective people strategies and helps shape culture. She loves working with global organizations that believe in the power of employee engagement and development. As a leadership coach, she gets to work with leaders to achieve greater effectiveness and joy in their roles. And she enjoys working with teams to enhance collaboration and to achieve peak performance.
Kirsten holds a B.A. in Communications from Western Washington University. She is also a Hudson Institute and ICF Certified Coach and has a 4th Degree Black Belt in Tae Kwon Do and Arnis. She is certified in Strengths Deployment Inventory, SDI from Personal Strengths Publishing www.personalstrengths.com and DISC www.thomasus.com. Kirsten believes in making dreams a reality and recently did so by taking a five-month sabbatical to travel around the world with her husband.
