Zuri Baker

Zuri Baker is an accomplished HR Operations leader with over 20 years of experience leading global people operations and HR technology transformations across high-growth organizations.

Zuri has held HR leadership roles at companies including Velocity Global (now Pebl), Opendoor, GoDaddy, The Apollo Group and Gillette (P&G), where she led enterprise-wide initiatives spanning organizational transformation, global expansion, M&A integration, and HR system implementations. Her experience includes leading multiple HCM implementations, building global HR infrastructure across multi-national/country environments, and transforming people operations functions into strategic business enablers.

Known for her ability to align business strategy with human-centered practices, Zuri partners closely with leaders to design and execute solutions that drive performance, strengthen engagement, and support sustainable growth. She brings a practical, execution-focused approach grounded in operational excellence, data-driven decision-making, and deep experience navigating complex organizational change.

Zuri lives in Phoenix, Arizona will her with her husband, son, and dog. When she’s not volunteering or serving in leadership through her public service sorority, Delta Sigma Theta, she enjoys puzzling, reading, and binge-watching a good show.
