Refund/Cancellation Policy

  • For cancellation notifications received at least 7 days prior to the program start date, you will be eligible for one registration transfer to the next available workshop date, at no charge.
  • For cancellation notifications received less than 7 days prior to the program start date, you will be charged 100% of the total workshop fee, and for an administrative fee of $150, be eligible for one registration transfer to another workshop date.
  • In the unlikely event that a program is cancelled due to inclement weather or other unforeseen events, we will contact you to arrange a transfer to another workshop date.

Workshop Descriptions

DISC Workshop for Leaders

Individual behavior styles and preferences have an impact on our interpersonal relationships teams. What we have learned about situational leadership is that everyone has their own style and preferences, and as leaders, it is our responsibility to learn to adapt to their style. They differ from each other in fundamental ways including their values, behaviors, and behaviors under pressure. This DISC workshop helps individuals understand each other better and appreciate the unique differences each individual brings to the workplace. In addition, you will learn the skills necessary to learn to adapt to your teams unique styles and speed-read others. As a result, you will become a more successful leader and make interactions with others more rewarding and effective. In this three-hour workshop, a free DISC assessment is included and you will have an opportunity to review your own behavioral assessment using a Thomas International Personal Profile Analysis (PPA) that uses DISC theory. This workshop is perfect for you regardless of where you are in your management career.

New Manager Development

This 4-hour workshop elevates managerial competence and confidence by providing foundational management tools, exploring the manager role and expectations that surround it, and learning about mistakes managers make…and how to avoid them. Participants engage in table discussions and problem-solving exercises; immediately applying and practicing techniques and solutions that support management success.  $399 per participant

Next Level Leadership Development

The Next Level Leadership series of 3-hour sessions enables managers to dive deeper into key areas that they face every day. Whether new to management, or years of experience, participants gain a higher level of competence in their ability to communicate, navigate conflict, and coach others to succeed. Workshops may be purchased individually or as a series package: $349 each individual session or $999 for 3 session series package.

During the Effective Communication session, you will:

  • Learn your primary workplace communication style; its strengths and limitations
  • Understand others’ communication styles and how they interact
  • Learn to align your style with the message to support the desired result
  • Understand the impact of miscommunication
  • Learn best practices for individual, team and organizational communication

During the Navigating Conflict for Win-Win Outcomes session, you will:

  • Target the root causes of workplace conflict
  • Understand how conflict styles impact perceptions and reactions
  • Learn 5 conflict management approaches
  • Gain strategies to lead conversations about performance, behavior, and conflict mediation

During Coaching and Feedback for Results session, you will:

  • Understand the coaching leadership style, and why it works
  • Learn the keys to providing meaningful, impactful feedback
  • Examine a step-by-step approach for feedback conversations
  • Understand the importance of asking for feedback, and how to do it
  • Discover a simple coaching model to support peak performance

Respectful and Inclusive Workplace Workshops

Respectful and Inclusive Workplace- Staff Session

This 1-hour session provides an engaging experience during which participants examine current, real-life scenarios with an eye towards fostering conversation and understanding. When we focus on building a foundation of respect and inclusion, we minimize the risks of costly claims, damage to our brand, and low morale. Topics included in this session are:

  • The hidden impacts of a disrespectful/non-inclusive workplace,
  • Our shared responsibility to foster a respectful and inclusive work culture,
  • Appreciating others’ perspectives based on their unique lived experiences,
  • Microaggressions as an opportunity to engage in conversation rather than fuel conflict, and
  • Leading a respectful confrontation and setting expectations

Leading in a Respectful and Inclusive Workplace- Manager Session

This 2-hour session invites managers to explore their leadership role in a respectful and inclusive workplace. We’ll examine real-life scenarios, engage in small group discussions to apply the learning, identify hidden risks and learn how to address them, and learn a practical tool for leading difficult conversations. Topics included in this session are:

  • The hidden impacts of a disrespectful/non-inclusive workplace,
  • Our shared responsibility to foster a respectful and inclusive work culture,
  • Characteristics of an inclusive leader,
  • Appreciating others’ perspectives based on their unique lived experiences,
  • Microaggressions as an opportunity to engage in conversation rather than fuel conflict,
  • A manager’s obligations, and how to recognize a potential concern, and
  • Leading a respectful confrontation and setting expectations
