New Manager Development

New and developing managers gain knowledge, skills, and confidence in this 90-minute, live and interactive virtual workshop.

Great managers know that skills that made them successful in past positions aren’t necessarily the skills they’ll need when managing others. In this workshop, participants explore the manager role and the competencies that are necessary to lead, develop, and retain others. We’ll navigate common management challenges and incorporate management best practices. Participants will learn ways to drive accountability, address behavior and performance concerns, and facilitate meaningful 1:1 meetings.

Participants engage in breakout room discussions and exercises; immediately applying and practicing techniques and solutions that support their success.

Next Level Leadership Development

Participants gain valuable insights and perspective in this 2-hour, live and interactive virtual workshop that goes beyond the basics to elevate leadership effectiveness.

We’ll explore self-awareness as an essential component of successful leadership and dive into a case study to highlight the importance of modeling the way and engaging teams in shared goals. Participants will learn key aspects of the coaching leadership style and learn a simple coaching model that fuels accountability and peak performance.

We’ll examine how leadership communication can inspire alignment or drive disengagement by sharing our responses to real-life scenarios.

Participants engage in breakout room discussions and “challenge” exercises to gain perspective and share knowledge.

Mastering Difficult Conversations

When work performance or behavior doesn’t meet expectations, managers must act. How and when we address concerns can determine whether team members are set up for success or propelled towards disengagement.

In this 1-hour workshop, we’ll learn how to effectively prepare for and facilitate a difficult conversation using a simple step-by-step discussion model, gain 5 tips for navigating difficult conversations, identify de-escalation techniques to get the discussion back on track, and practice new skills in breakout sessions.

Providing Meaningful Feedback

We all know that feedback should be viewed as a gift, but sometimes it feels more like a burden. Yet if we fail to provide ongoing and meaningful feedback to our team members, we do ourselves – and them – a disservice.

This 1-hour workshop explores ongoing feedback as a foundation for long-term success. Participants will learn feedback best practices, explore a step-by-step approach to providing constructive feedback, and learn how to ask for feedback to support a culture of continuous improvement.

Respectful and Inclusive Workplace

When we build a foundation of respect and inclusion in the workplace, we nurture an environment where all types of people have the opportunity to thrive.

In this live, 90-minute interactive virtual workshop, participants explore alternate perspectives to real-life workplace scenarios. With an eye towards fostering conversation rather than fueling conflict, they’ll examine real-life workplace scenarios and how small actions can create big impacts. Participants will consider how others’ unique lived experiences inform their perceptions. They’ll look at microaggressions as an opportunity for learning, and microinclusions as a means of fostering an inclusive, productive workplace. Finally, participants will navigate a respectful confrontation model that supports meaningful two-way communication.

Understanding Workplace Styles with DiSC®

This 60-minute learning experience helps people to build more productive and effective relationships, both inside and outside the organization. Participants explore their own styles and those of others, while learning to appreciate different priorities, preferences, and values that each person brings to the workplace. With personalized insights and actionable strategies, participants learn how to adapt to the style of others, ultimately improving engagement, collaboration, and the overall quality of the organization.

The DiSC assessment and 20-page individual report is included. This research-validated online assessment asks participants to respond to behavioral statements on a five-point scale, including application-specific questions to help determine the participant’s workplace priorities. Built using the latest adaptive testing methodology, each participant receives precise insights to personalize their experience.

DiSC® Productive Conflict

This 60-minute learning experience increases self-awareness around conflict behaviors and helps participants effectively respond to the uncomfortable and unavoidable challenges of workplace conflict. Rather than focus on a step-by-step process for conflict resolution, this workshop combines the personalized insights of DiSC® with the proven science of cognitive behavioral theory to help participants recognize and transform their destructive habits into more productive responses. The result is improved workplace relationships that drive results and leaders who can minimize the impact of nonproductive conflict within the organization and with one another.

Leading Organizational Change

Whether launching a new system, implementing pandemic response procedures, or driving an organizational restructure, knowing how to lead others through change while navigating resistance is key to success.

As stewards of organizational change, managers are charged with translating strategic decisions and unplanned impacts into operational actions. We’ll use a model for successful change and apply it to a change within your own organization. In this 90-minute workshop, participants will take away a Change Assessment tool to assist them in planning and evaluating change initiatives in their organization.

Fueling an Engaged Culture

As we continue to transition to an increasingly distributed workforce, it’s more critical than ever to connect our people to our mission. While employees navigate home schooling, family matters and feelings of isolation, employers must take a fresh look at how they fuel engagement.

In this 90-minute workshop, we’ll look at employee engagement as a key bottom-line influencer while learning why traditional “engagement boosters” haven’t moved the needle. Then, we’ll identify 5 ways that leaders can support high engagement and alignment at all levels of the organization.
